National Mapping and Resource Information Agency, Republic of the Philippines receives Fledermaus Professional Training

A Fledermaus Professional course was given to the National Mapping and Resource Information Agency (NAMRIA), Republic of the Philippines between May 18-22, 2009. A total of sixteen personnel participated in the training course, with content ranging from basic Scene building to advanced multibeam bathymetry editing and validation.

Course instructor Dr. Douglas Bergersen noted that "the personnel involved in the training were quite diverse in terms of fields of expertise. We had hydrographers and engineers and geologists and cartographers. The course content and sample data sets allowed each of these groups to walk away with a thorough understanding of how the FM Pro product suite might be used to more easily create the data deliverables expected from NAMRIA by their clients. I look forward to continued discourse with the organisation and an increase in the number of licenses owned by NAMRIA as their skill levels grow."
